THE BRIEF
The brief was to reorganise the garden’s levels, replace the existing brickwork and create two practical patio areas. Privacy was a priority, alongside a new central lawn. Reported flooding on the lower level also meant drainage needed to be addressed as part of the landscaping works.

THE DESIGN
A broad central lawn separates the patio beside the conservatory from the raised terrace at the rear. Wide steps make the changes in level feel deliberate, while matching sleeper walls connect each area visually. Slatted screening provides a consistent backdrop, with lighting highlighting the boundaries and steps.

THE BUILD
We reshaped the garden and constructed sleeper retaining walls and wide paved steps. Both patios were laid on prepared sub-bases and full mortar beds, with land drains included to address the lower-level drainage issue. Fresh turf, timber screening and integrated outdoor lighting completed the transformation.
