THE BRIEF
The brief focused on improving privacy, organising the garden’s levels and creating practical routes around the home. New screening, lawn and planting would bring the space together, with an emphasis on year-round greenery and manageable maintenance. Outdoor lighting would add interest to the boundaries after dark.

THE DESIGN
Curved planting beds soften the routes around the house, with Corten steel edging defining the gravel paths. A row of neatly shaped trees adds rhythm against the horizontal timber screening, while lower shrubs and grasses introduce texture. The lawn provides an open green space beside the seating area.

THE BUILD
We prepared the new levels, installed a timber sleeper step and laid fresh turf onto prepared topsoil. Self-binding gravel paths were formed on a compacted foundation and edged in Corten steel. Slatted screening, outdoor lighting and the planting scheme completed the garden.
THE REVIEW
"What a transformation! In 8 days my garden transitioned from a builders yard to a beautiful space with areas for planting, relaxation and ease of movement. The garden is a quirky shape and the vision designed and realised made the space look bigger with clearly defined zones adding interest. The guys are also really lovely and worked around severe heat to complete the job. I totally recommend Proterior... communication was excellent throughout and more importantly they care!"
