White rendered planters with waterbade and venetian screening in kingswinford

GARDEN RETREAT
KINGSWINFORD

White rendered planters, textured porcelain and composite decking give this garden a calm, contemporary feel. Broad steps connect the lower terrace to the lawn, while timber screening creates a consistent backdrop. A blade water feature adds gentle movement beside the seating area.

THE BRIEF

The project called for a coordinated garden with space for outdoor seating, a new lawn and a practical connection between the different levels. Porcelain paving and composite decking would create distinct areas near the house, with raised planters and slatted screening bringing structure to the surrounding space.

THE DESIGN

Broad composite steps make the change in level a central feature, linking the terrace with the upper lawn. An L-shaped white planter frames the porcelain seating area and incorporates a blade water feature. Soft grey finishes, decorative gravel and natural timber screening keep the materials balanced and the layout uncluttered.

THE BUILD

We constructed the composite deck and matching steps on a treated timber frame, alongside a porcelain patio and white rendered planters. Slatted timber screening wraps around three sides of the garden, with sleeper edging defining the lawn. Channel drainage, decorative gravel and the integrated water blade complete the detailing.

THE REVIEW

“I can’t recommend these guys enough. From the initial design stage through to the work being completed in a timely manner I have been impressed. They cleaned up after every day and were a pleasure to have working at my house. They turned a very tired garden into a space where we want to spend time as a family and something that we are proud of and want to show off. Thank you guys.”
