THE BRIEF
The brief brought together new paved areas, gravel pathways and clearly defined beds ready for planting. The aim was to connect the house with a separate garden seating space, using softer shapes and natural textures. Screening would help divide the space without introducing a heavy boundary.

THE DESIGN
Flowing curves shape the garden, with a winding gravel path passing between planted islands and a rounded seating terrace. Cream paving and gravel keep the palette light, while Corten steel provides a warm contrast. Trees, shrubs and ornamental grasses bring height and texture to the finished space.

THE BUILD
We prepared the garden’s levels and laid cream paving on a compacted sub-base and full mortar bed, cutting the edges to follow the curves. Corten steel defines the beds beside Cotswold gravel paths. Chestnut posts and bark screening complete the layout, with fresh topsoil preparing the borders for planting.
